1. Definitions

In these Terms:

• “Service” means the website masterkai.com, all calculators, tools, analyses, consultations, digital products, and related services.
• “We,” “us,” “our” means Master Kai and Nova Masters Consulting.
• “You,” “your” means the individual accessing or using the Service.
• “Content” means all text, images, charts, analyses, reports, and materials available through the Service.
• “User Content” means any birth data, profiles, or other information you submit to the Service.

2. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account, accessing the Service, or making a purchase, you confirm that:

• You are at least 16 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

3. Description of service

Master Kai provides classical Chinese metaphysics tools and services, including but not limited to:

• BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) chart calculations
• Day Officers (十二值日星) analysis
• Heavenly stem and earthly branch clash analysis
• Feng Shui calculations (Flying Star, Eight Mansions)
• I Ching divination tools
• Qi Men Dun Jia chart casting
• Personalized chart readings and analyses
• One-on-one consultations (virtual or in-person)
• Digital educational products (ebooks, guides)

4. User accounts

4.1 Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.

4.2 Account security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to secure your account.

4.3 Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape our calculators

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data

• Use our chart calculations or analyses to create a competing service
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Intellectual property

6.1 Our content

All Content on the Service — including text, graphics, logos, calculators, algorithms, chart interpretations, and software — is the property of Master Kai or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our Content without written permission
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from our materials
• Use our trademarks or branding without authorization

6.2 Your content

You retain ownership of your User Content (birth data, profiles). By submitting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to use it solely to provide the Service to you.

6.3 Ebooks and digital products

Our ebooks and digital guides are registered with ISBNs and protected by copyright. Purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the digital product for your own study. You may not:

• Share, distribute, or publish the content publicly
• Sell, sublicense, or transfer your license
• Modify or create derivative works from the content
• Use the content for commercial purposes without written consent

7. Disclaimer — important

Specifically:

• Our analyses do not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition
• Our readings should not replace professional legal, financial, or psychological advice
• Life decisions should be made using your own judgment and consultation with qualified professionals
• Results and interpretations are subjective and based on classical texts, not empirical science

You assume full responsibility for any actions you take based on information from our Service.

8. Subscriptions and billing

8.1 Subscription terms

Some features require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your selected plan
• Provide valid payment information
• Accept automatic renewal unless cancelled

8.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fee plus any applicable taxes. Failed payments may result in suspension of premium features.

8.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time unless required by law.

9. Consultations

One-on-one consultations are subject to our separate Consultation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We provide the Service “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Master Kai, Nova Masters Consulting, and our affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you submit to the Service

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

13. Changes to terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email and posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
